Easy handling and convenient angle

I'm giving 5 stars - but I haven't yet properly measured the battery duration. The 5 stars, for now, regard the convenient angle that the notebook offer after installing it and the easy of changing the batteries. About duration, I have made one single test using full power (Vista in High Performance) and it gave me about 3 hours - but that was before recharging it three times. As soon as I make more tests, I'll advise. My notebook is Toshiba Satellite, A205-S4639.
Extended Battery works great highly recommended

OEM battery that came with laptop did well to provide 1 to 1-1/2 Hours of runtime. Extended battery provides about 2-1/2 Hours. Happy with the purchase.

This great little battery has tripled the time I can work without AC power. The design lifts up the back of the laptop which makes using the keyboard more comfortable, and allows for better air circulation underneath. One other small plus; it gives me something to grab when doing a one-handed laptop removal from my bag! Can you tell? I LOVE THIS BATTERY !
If your thinking about getting this, do it. You wont regret it.

If your thinking about getting this, do it. You wont regret it. It gave me an extra 1hr and a half, so I now have 3 and a 1/2 hrs of bat time. when I go on trips I bring along the 2hr bat that came with the comp and when the one gets low I power down switch them and presto, 5 and 1/2 hours of bat time!

Ok, so I've had this battery since I received it in the mail around the 1st of February. This battery has exceeded my expectations. I have had my laptop (A205-S4707) since Christmas of 2007. The battery that came with it would get a max charge of around 2.5 hours, even when it was new. But just a few months ago, I noticed that the life of that battery had gone down significally to holding only ~1-1.5 hours of life. Then about a month or so ago, the battery just would not hold a charge for more than 30 minutes. I'm figuring that this is mainly because of my extended usage of my laptop (I use my laptop at least once a day for at least one hour) and due to me playing games on it at least several times a week (World of Warcraft, etc.).

This battery was like a god-send when I first plugged attached it and plugged it in. I found out that this battery could hold at least a 2.5 hour charge on the "high performance" setting, even while playing power/graphics heavy games! If I have the laptop on high performance and leave it alone for like 5 minutes with no apps running, I look at the battery life and it says that it has 4+ hours left! My default battery couldn't even do that when it was brand new!

Another plus, besides the battery life, is that there is a sturdy bar that is part of the battery that gives the laptop a bit of lift in the back to allow for a better angle for typing on the keyboard and to allow for better airflow while it is stationed on a desk. This has helped me a lot because since I play a lot of computer games on this laptop, it tends to get hot and this extra space underneath the fan area helps keep it a bit cooler.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I'm sure it will last at least the length of time as my old battery and will probably be able to hold charges better for a longer period of time.
