My first router

I have 3 days now with this router and works like a charm. Installation and settings took less than 10min, the configuration of the router is through a wizard that guides you step by step and is very easy to set, this is my first router I have zero knowledge about routers and I was able to install and set it very quickly by myself, the thing got running inmmediately. Besides, this router has a ton of config and options that I didn't even touched: security, passwords, client list, manage client conencted, and a thousand more.

It's 100% compatible with 802.11 a/b/g/n, I got my ASUS 1000HE and 2 pcs (one through LAN cable and the other through a usb adapter) connected and everything works fine.

The signal strength is EXCELLENT, the router is positioned near the phone and the entire house have strong signal even in the rooms with the door closed I still get 100% signal strength, and the rooms are far from the router.

This thing is to good to be true, and the price is very cheap, it never gets hot and the signal is super strong, I highly recommend it.

I was skeptical about this product, so when I it arrived, I was expecting a complex setup with screens that needed an interpreter.

Well, I was actually surprised to find out that it was really too simple.

I went over everything several times, because I had never had a router setup so easily.

I actually had it running at top speed within 15 minutes of opening the box.

I have had it operational now since Oct 21 and it has not gone offline or glitched since. To me that is significant, since my D-l!nk and Lyn#sys usually failed within a couple days dues to some unknown cause.

This is a great router for both beginners and experienced users and makes a great whole house WiFi available system.

I am impressed and you most likely will be also.

This router was purchased as a replacement for a temperamental Belkin Wireless N+ which had all too frequent interface problems with a Comcast(US) cable modem. The WBR-6001 worked flawlessly right out of the box (it's sensible defaults are: 192.168.0.1 default local IP, DHCP, dynamic IP addressing; which is what Comcast uses). It also has excellect contemporary protocols and security features for wireless applications and comfortably interfaces with Toshiba Satellite laptops and a PS3. Plus, Electronica Direct has excellent customer service.

I am almost 70 and a novice with electronic gadgets. My grandchildren helped me set up my IPod Touch!

I ordered this unit and set it up myself in 15 minutes. The Tech/Level One was delivered faster than was indicated when I placed ordered.

I wanted an inexpensive wireless n router and this fit the bill.It arrived less than two days after placing order. I set it up and only had a slight problem with my wireless n laptop network connection but quickly was able to figure it out (laptop running Vista Home Premium did not want to recognize unbroadcasted SSID network but eventually did).
I was surprised at the quality of the case and gold plated antenna connections. Unit seems to stay cool. Signal strength on wireless n only has been excellent. I have not had a signal problem since setting router up.
So far so good. I would highly recommend this product (designed in Germany but as with almost everything, built in China).
